Finally

Yay, I have the new site up - so far only one bug that I can't fix - the "this is a trial version" text - I can't make it disappear, I have emailed the tech support people so maybe sometimes today they will email me back and tell me how to make it go away. Other than that everything seems to be in working order. A couple of galleries are very limited in pics but I've been up all night trying to get this to work. I'll be adding photos to the galleries for the rest of the week at least. Normal proofing should also be working now - so if you got an email with a proof link there shouldn't be any problems with it now. If you have one, let me know.

One other thing - I'll be posting more about this later on tonight - the week of July 27th through August 1st we're going to Panama City Beach for Beach Portraits. I've had quite a few emails already wanting sessions and I'm only taking two sessions a day sooo if you are going to be in Panama, Destin, anywhere else close by that week and want Beach Photos, email or call asap. If I have enough people interested and run out of sessions, we may be able to schedule another round for late August, early September. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you all the details.

More Website Troubles

Okay, my website has officially died, I have a new one and somehow, in the process of trying to upload it I have damaged some other important files so now I can't get the new one to work either. On top of it all the contact and email tabs are not working, so if you need to get in touch with me for any reason, please just email me at nikki@nikkipeebles.com or call
770-533-0922. I am hoping that this issue will be resolved by the end of the day today - Wednesday, July 2nd. Also, if you had proofs online - they have disappeared as well. I'm working on a proofing alternative until I get this problem solved. Once I get it all worked out I'll email you a link and password so that you can view your proofs.

Website Woes

I'm getting lots of calls and emails about my site being down. Thank you everyone who has left a message letting me know!

For some reason the flash has disappeared from my site (this is the program that displays all of the pictures) and the person whose mercy I am at reagarding all things to do with my site is unreachable soooo, I'm trying to figure this out on my own. Give me a few days and everything will be back up or something new will be in it's place. Everything else still works, (the contact info and pricing request forms) so feel free to use those. Daddy Daughter Dance

Bryan took Emmy to her 1st Daddy/Daughter dance a few weeks ago which gave me the perfect excuse to bring them to the studio for a little photo session. These are the first portraits of them together - EVER - I don't even have any of those great newborn shots of her in his arms - how sad is that?? You know that saying ... something about the shoemaker's children not having shoes - well same with the the photographer's children and photos except, I actually do have lots of great photos of my kids - but none with with either of us (Bryan and I) so I was very happy to have a valid reason to drag them (mainly Bryan, Emily likes it there) to the studio and even happier once I got a chance to edit these. So, here are a few of my family - a couple members of it anyway..

A few from last weekend's Easter Special

We had such a great time last weekend. It was a long two day for us at Nikki Peebles but everything went smoothly - of course if you don't factor in the weather - everyone dealt with having to change from their winter clothes into their spring clothing and then back again pretty well and all the pictures turned out so wonderful. I'll post a few below. I do however, first want to thank a few people who, without all of their help, I'd never have been able to pull off this event. There is no possible way I could have dealt with paperwork, wrangled bunnies AND children and shot at the same time. Most of you who are longtime customers have see my mom and my friend Sandy (she's my main animal handler) around the studio helping out from time to time. This year, I had so much volume I was afraid that two extra people wouldn't be enough so we enlisted the help of our other friend Brandy. I have to say - they did most of the hard work, chasing those rabbits (and some children as well). I have had so many people comment on how nice my "staff" was - so I just wanted to let them know that I really really appreciate all their help - It made both days so much more pleasurable - it's really nice to get to pick who you work with, and I'm glad I picked them (of course we've been friends for like 100 years so I knew that it would turn out alright) Anyway, I know that you're reading girlies so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! My mom too!! Also, thanks to my other friend Lisa who, when very late the night before when I wasn't as happy with the set as I though I should be and every store that had what I thought I might need was already closed, dug up those stones out of her yard and brought them to the studio. Thank you Lisa - they did the trick!! Now, here are some of the fruits from all that work!!

2008 Easter Set

Ok, finally - here is the set for the Limited Edition Easter Sessions. Please excuse Emmy - she was with me at the studio all day while I finished this set and I felt really mean making her pose at 9:00 p.m. - so, I took what I could get. I did get her to agree to wear a casual as well as a dressy dress so you could get an idea of how it might look with both. See you all this weekend!!
